Gnome with a soft B...

Another weekend has come and gone...

My weekends usually consist of me spending a lot of time with my family and friends hanging out here in Tulsa. however this past weekend I didn't stay in Tulsa I ventured to Stillwater with my best friend Megan and our new friend Gnome with a soft B. 

On Friday I was having a girls night, and while we were hanging out at my apt my friends came across the Christmas present my roommate gave me. That's where Gnome with a soft B came into the picture. We then decided to take him around the University of Tulsa's campus. While out on this adventure we were discussing our trip to Stillwater that we were going to be taking the next night. He asked if he could accompany us on our trip and of course we said yes. We took alot of pictures on on trip to Stillwater.While on these adventures we discovered some of his hobbies...

Hobbies include:

e. Target

f. Pizza places

3. Play Hide and Seek

4. Read the Newspaper

 He then insisted on stopping on the side of the road to get a picture with the OSU sign.

Then he stopped by to say hello to some of the fire protection guys...

Then he went to the library...

He made a special trip on the roof... (captured a little bit of Boone Pickens Stadium) 

 Next he asked if he could take a Cheesy prom picture with his 2 new besties Megan and Ben.

After an exciting day going around Oklahoma States Campus he went home and took a little nap. After a long nap he was ready to go out with friends. Below are some pictures taken on his night out in Stillwater...

                                      
After a long night of hanging with his friends, He was ready to head back to Tulsa. When we got to Tulsa we went to dinner at Savastano's Pizza. Since hes from Chicago he wanted some Chicago Style Pizza!

                                      

After Dinner he insisted on us going to target to get some stuff for this winter storm that's approaching. While walking around he wanted to take some fun pictures... Here they are!

My Life, My job...

Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. As far back as I can remember thats the only job I ever wanted. I am now in my 4th year of college and Im slowly getting closer to my dream job. I thought teaching would be the only job I ever wanted, But then I got the job I have now and I realized that there is more to life. In the summer of 2008 my cousin Jessica who was pregnant with Lucy at the time, was extremely bored sitting at home all day by herself. She asked me to come over one day and spend the day with her. Little did I know that day would change my life. I began to spend a lot of time with Jessica and the little peanut growing inside of her. Jessica is a lot older than me so growing up I was never really close to her. We would just hang out at the house and watch movies and TV shows. I am now officially addicted to Beverly Hill 90210. Now I can say that out of all my cousins, Im closer to her than anyone. When it got closer to her due date, she asked me if i would be interested in helping her with the baby. I was so excited. I love children ( hence the fact I want to be a teacher). 


Lucy Olivia was born on December 17, 2008. She was the cutest baby I had ever seen. I couldn't wait to start helping Jessica out with the baby. I had baby sat numerous times since I was 12 but I had never looked after a baby so little. The first day I went over to help out I was so NERVOUS! Lucy was only like a week old! I remember the first time Jessica left me alone with the baby. I was so scared!  Of course I got the hang of it. I then began the great job I have today. I started working 3 days a week, watching Miss. Lucy Olivia. I had a great year with her. I got to see her walk for the first time, and hear her first words. Then along came Miss. Penny Lane. Born January 28th 2010. Of course by then I was super nanny. I can take on any challenge these girls bring. I love spending my days with these girls. No matter what kind of mood I'm in they always manage to put a smile on my face. The best part of my job is the pictures and videos I capture of the girls. 

The week after Christmas I went to Dallas to stay with my best friend Paula. While I was away I needed to find someone to watch the girls. I had my best friend Megan watch the girls. While I was gone these were the pictures she sent me. 

I couldn't think of anyone I would trust more to watch these girls then Megan. I love her so much. She's a goof ball just like me! :-p

Its All About Me!

I have been so busy that I haven't updated my blog in forever! Well this is changing right now!
Im going to tell you guys a few things about me...

1. My full name is Katherine Marie Stevenson.

2.I'm 21 years old and I'm in my 4th year of college.

3. I'm majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Intervention

4. I have the worlds GREATEST parents and 1 amazing sister.

5. Three days a week I get to spend my afternoons with Lucy Olivia and Penny Lane! They mean the world to me!

6. Even though I am 21 years old I still sleep with my Blankie and Puffy on my bed.

7. I'm going to Greece this summer with my best friend! Thanks to my AMAZING parents!

8. I love sushi. I could eat it all the time.

9. I am INCREDIBLY scared of clowns. I will cry and freak out if I am anywhere near one.

10. I love to make people laugh. Im goofy and weird and I'm okay with that. This is who I am and if people don't like it... well tough!

11. I eat dinner with my parents almost ever night. Even though im in college and live on campus I spend most of my time with my parents.

12. I LOVE taking baths. If I don't have anything to do during the days sometimes I can take 3 or 4 baths during the day.

13. Im obsessed with pretty little liars. I got the entire book collection for Christmas and I'm starting to read them.

14. I have a huge family and I absolutely love them all. I love when we all get together. Our gatherings usually include lots and lots of laughing.

15. Halloween is my favorite holiday.

16. I love hanging out with my friends.

17. My Best Friend and I have been friends forever. I love her to death.

18. My nephew is the cutest thing ever. He is 6 and his personality is priceless.

19. I love to do word searches. I could sit and do word searches all day long.

20. I wouldn't have this blog if it were for my awesome cousin Jessica. She designed my blog. I love you Boss Lady!!
