Things I am Thankful for!

There are a million things I am thankful for, however there are some things I am EXTREMELY thankful for!

I am thankful for my wonderful parents. Without them I in fact would not be here. :-)

I am thankful for my sister and brother in law and my amazing nephew. My sister is my other half.

I am thankful for being able to have a big family. No matter what happens there is always somebody you can call when your in trouble or need help.

I am thankful for my best friend of 21 years. J Stas has been there for me through the good times as well as the bad ones. Without her I wouldn't make sense. :-)

I am thankful for my cousins Jessica and Kyle. :-) I am thankful for them because they have given me the best job anyone could ask for. They allow me to spend my days looking after their children. I love those girls more than anything in the world, and I am very thankful and lucky to have them as part of my family. Love you guys so much!

I am thankful for my aunt Barbra. I am very close with her and I am so lucky to have her in my life. I have so many great memories with her. I love you Half Squat.

I am thankful for the group of friends I am always with. They are always there for me whenever I need them. Life would be boring with out this group.

There are so many things that I am thankful for. If I tried to list them all, this post would take up 10 pages. So I stuck to the main things im thankful for.
Hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving

Big Family at Big Cedar!

Happy Friday Everybody!

Well here we go, as promised! My aunt posted some of the pictures she took of the family out at Big Cedar and Im here to show them to you. I have a BIG family. There were 20 of us that went on the vacation and we were still missing family members. I love my family more than anything in the world. I love the fact that almost everybody in the family lives here in Tulsa. We used to take family vacations to Mexico every couple of years, but now that my grandfather is getting older its hard to travel with him. So this vacation we decided to go to a place that was close to home. Hope you guys enjoy these photos! I know I did.

Saturday morning I was waken by tiny little Penny Lane. When I looked over, I saw not only Penny Lane but another little creature.
After laying around and playing with the girls and the stuffed raccoon, we all finally got up and moving. We went on a small little hike.
Olivia carried me on her back.... for about 10 steps! :-p
After the hike we all met back at the cabin and had lunch. After lunch a group of us went down and rented a few canoes.
Later that evening we all met up at one of the cabins and we made dinner. My uncles cooked lamb chops on the grill, my aunt made a delicious salad and my cousin made her delicious potatoes!
After dinner was over we began our cabin skits. My aunt Barbra and my Grandmother did the first skit.
Followed by the Jersey Shore.
And for the big finale... my awesome cabin performed KING CHUCK!
Lucy was the lead dancer!
We had a blast up at Big Cedar. I think we should start going there as a family more often!

Fun day at work!

Last week Lucy was eating her Halloween candy when I looked over to see what she was up to, her face and hands were dyed the colors of the skittles she was eating. So I decided to go ahead and give her a bath to get her clean! Now that's all she wants to do when I'm there. Well that's fine with me, keeps her clean and we have a lot of fun. When I was little my mom used to put soap in her hand and then blow bubbles. Well I decided to do that one day and now Lucy always wants me to blow bubbles! The other day she was saying Hi bubbles, I'm Lucy. She is so adorable. Well while Lucy was in the bath Penny lane woke up from her nap. She too wanted to get into the bath. These two are so stinking cute! Of course I had to take some pictures of them!
Lucy loves bubble baths. If she could spend all day in the bath I think she would. He favorite thing to do is see how wet we can get nanny outside the bath tub. The other day my shirt was soaked, along with my pants and socks. She found it hilarious!

I love watching these girls. No matter how bad of a day I could be having, once I get to work and Penny Lane crawls right up to me, and wants me to pick her up, it makes my day so much better. I'm so lucky that Kyle an Jessica asked me to watch the girls.
Love them so much and I know they love me!
Have a Great Weekend Bloggers!

Big Cedar Lodge

Hellllo Everybody! Hope everyone has had a good week!

Last weekend me and my AWESOME family went to Big Cedar Lodge up in Branson MO. We had the best time! I love going on family vacations. I drove up on Friday with my Aunt Barbra, my cousin Meredith and her boyfriend Ben. We didn't drive up with the rest of the family because they left at 8:00 am and I had to go to my 9:00am class, so we left afterwards. It was so beautiful up there! Here is a picture I snapped with my phone of the lodge.
Friday since people were getting there at different times we all just hung out and looked around the grounds. Some people went on walks, My little cousin's went and rented canoes and some people just relaxed in the cabin till everyone got there. I stayed with my Aunt and Uncle and there family. As my uncle Allen called it, I was staying in the party cabin. Ha We had so much fun in our cabin. Dancing around and listening to music, and best of all we had the babies in our cabin. They are so adorable and I'm so lucky that I get to spend my days with them.
Friday night the family went on a wagon ride, and then sat by a campfire and made smores and drank hot chocolate. Penny Lane was so excited for the smores and hot chocolate that she fell asleep by the campfire!

When that was over we went back to our cabin and had dinner. We made my cousins amazing chili! I have got to get her recipe! While people were eating we decided to have talent night. Only a few people were brave enough to show there talents. My aunt and I had a Chicken duel off, my uncle did his emperor penguin, my cousin and aunt did there T-Rex walk? I'm not sure what its called and then Kyle did Antoine Dobson. " Hide yo kids, Hide yo wife" ha ha It was great! After that some of the family went to the Buzzard bar. The guy performing did a dueling banjo by himself. It was awesome!

Saturday we all got up and went on a hike. My aunt took her camera and took some great pictures. When she gets them all uploaded and stuff, hopefully I can get a few to download on here so you can see. This picture was taken on the hike and its just one of many awesome pictures she snapped of me. Me and my many facial expressions! I love it!
After the hike we all just hung around till lunch. After Lunch we went canoeing. So much fun! I was in a canoe with my aunts Barbra and Terri.
As you can see I had to do all the work!
It was hard work trying to paddle with both of them in the Canoe and them not doing anything to help. :-p

Saturday night we cooked out. We had lamb chops, salad, and potatoes! It was so delicious! After dinner we had our cabin skits! Our cabin had the best skit, Hands down! Ha We had a dance routine to the Steve Martin version of King Tut. Of course we changed the lyrics to King Chuck. Talking about our grandfather. We had so much fun!!

Sunday morning we all got up and started to pack up to leave. I didn't want to leave!! I drove back in between my aunt and uncle and cousin! I didn't want to get on the rode alone cause I had a feeling I would get lost. I left kinda early cause I had some homework I needed to get done and I didn't want to be up really late working on it. It was good to be home and see my parents cause they weren't able to go but I wish I could have stayed at Big Cedar longer. I defiantly think we will be going back again!

This next picture is of all the Greeks at my party. And when I say Greeks I dont mean sorority or fraternity.
Yup Sooner Jesus was there!
